This course can empower specifiers, designers, inspectors, and installers to ensure existing and planned pipe projects adhere to specified standards.

Learning Objective: Provide attendees with a detailed understanding on the proper installation of pipe.
Course Overview: Learn how properly adhering to DOT installation standards for pipe will increase the longevity and value of infrastructure by reducing potential failures and decreasing maintenance costs. Gain an understanding of the differences that ACPA has documented comparing the installation of flexible and rigid culverts at the city, county and state levels. This course can empower specifiers, designers, inspectors, and installers to ensure existing and planned pipe projects adhere to specified standards.

Learning Objective: Provide attendees with a detailed understanding of post installation inspection practices and standards.
Course Overview: Learn common practices to protect the owner’s best interest by ensuring all pipes in their system have been properly installed and that the pipeline system is uncompromised. Post Installation Inspection (PII) provides the owner the information needed to determine whether proper installation occurred prior to project close-out or final acceptance.

Learning Objective: Provide attendees with a detailed understanding of post installation inspection practices and standards.
Course Overview: Learn installation techniques for precast box culverts, while increasing awareness of common innovations. Identify local and national standards to determine critical components for common box culvert systems. Learn standard design and installation procedures to ensure life expectancy and mitigate potential problem areas. This course will empower engineers, inspectors and installers with a product that can be competitively designed with enhanced creativity for a growing
infrastructure.

Accelerated Precast Construction (APC) (1 Hour)

Learning Objective: Provide attendees methods for accelerated construction using precast concrete.
Course Overview: Learn how precast concrete products can help you incorporate innovative planning, design, materials and construction methods to reduce construction time and costs. Obtain strategies for improving safety for workers and commuters during construction. The ACPA recognizes the importance of innovation. APC, a trademark of ACPA members, targets project delivery time, product quality, durability, safety and economics.
